About Pho Viet Anh | Butterfield Plaza

I don’t know what it is, but I always feel so hungry around midnight, and there would be either no spot open late, or there would be just eatable food.

So here it is, I guess I can use the Quote from Thanos: β€œfine, Ill do it myself”

At Pho Viet Anh, you won’t find yourself any symptoms such as migraine, thirsty, drowsy etc due to the heavy use of MSG. I eat my pho everyday and I have very low tolerance of the magic powder.

At Pho Viet Anh, there is no perfect dish. We believe that we can create a close-to-perfect dish by listening to customers feedbacks, a dish that makes sense to the chef, me, and to you, visitors. So we both can feel understood and enjoy our time together.

Thank you, and we look forward to serving you.

We checked the reviews and saw it was a 4.5 star restaurant so we came here for dinner. Was seated within 5 minutes. Waited 5-10 minutes to get greeted and order food. Waiter didn't bring us any water and the people that came after us already got their water. Waited 10 minutes and waiter got us a round of water. We ordered our food and about 10 minutes later, the vermicelli dish came out, then the pho. Some of us were still waiting for their food and the ones that got their food just got done eating their food. We waited long, hoping the rest of the food would come out. We finally said we should just waive down the waiter and ask about the other food. He said he'll go check. He came back a few minutes later and said they ran out of grilled pork. Omg, my kids waited over an hr for them to tell us that they ran out of pork. Of course we're not about to wait another minute for something else, everyone else was already done eating. Where was the communication to your valuable customers? I don't know how this place got 4.5 stars but it is definitely not. The service was definitely not there, the food is mediocre and expensive. I will not be returning to this place. They give pho viet a

Amazing pho and I appreciate that they take a student discount for Sacramento State students. My friend and I used to go to other pho places that would be very busy and would forget requests that we would have, but this location would be very attentive and remember if we had asked for more water, limes, etc. I love the calm vibe and it is so relaxing after a long day at work.

4 stars because not everything on the menu is served anymore and the Yelp pics helped us decide to eat here but disappointed that the menu is limited (40 min drive). Good service, space is clean. Spring rolls could use half the amount of noodles they put in and honey ginger tea is all sugar. Overall ok food but won't come back.

Fresh and flavorful Vietnamese food. The spring rolls were tightly wrapped with shrimp, vermicelli, lettuce, and herbs, served with a rich peanut sauce. The vermicelli bowl came with grilled shrimp, beef, egg roll, pickled veggies, and fresh greens β€” balanced and satisfying. The BΓΊn BΓ² HuαΊΏ had a bold, spicy broth with brisket, meatballs, pork, cabbage, and fried shallots. The chili sauce on the table was a highlight. A bit pricey, but worth it for the quality and portions.

yummy!!! Was looking for a late night dinner since almost all restos around my area close at 8pm. Anyway, glad to have stumbled upon this restaurant. The staff did a superb job in handling multiple customers despite the rush(a lot of people still coming in!). They were still polite and happy despite being busy on a Sunday night. Food wise, broth warms your soulβ€” good balance of flavors and ingredients, wanted more meat though. The calamari was okay, might not order again, we only ordered it to compare to our usual calamari spot :) Thai tea was refreshing, sweet, as expected. Grilled pork was flavorful- we loved this! And the sauce that came was good too. Overall,we were really full and it was worth it!

This restaurant is such a hole in the wall. We normally go to pho bac hoa viet on Bradshaw but decided to try this place recently & must say, we will be regulars here now. The service is OUTSTANDING. The food is always high quality, great tasting, & tastes FRESH. Their pho broth is AMAZING & not watered down. You can taste the love they put into their food here. The spring rolls are AMAZING as well and the peanut sauce compliments them so well. I highly recommend giving this place a try! You won’t be disappointed.

The food here was delicious and I might for that reason I might go back. The service I received there was horrible! We have a party of 8 and they sat at different tables. The first table got its order and ate most of it before the other table got anything. The other table didn’t get their food together, they even forgot to make my wife’s. So one table completely done and the other done with just one person eating. Honestly don’t go here with a big party. In fact after remembering the time I had, the food can be found at another establishment. There are plenty of Pho places in the vicinity, try one of those.
